Express Yourself Poster

Express Yourself Poster

I have been busy with a lot of junk lately but here is my latest creation. I made it all last night in a bit of a rush (as it was due today) but I think it turned out okay. Now don't think I was slacking on my deadline; I actually didn't get the information for it untill yesterday morning and had to trash my original idea (which I had already invested some time into). Anyway, tell me if ya like it. That's all for now...

Again I have been drawn into the busy world of school and laziness. It's not that I haven't had time to post...just that I haven't stopped slacking off enough to get around to it untill now. So I will rant and rave about pointless stuff once again, hope you don't mind.

I have been writing most of my papers recently within an hour of it being due. Somehow this is working out for me still even though I do want to try and get things done a little ahead of schedule (this means at lerast the night before). I have been sleeping a lot lately, mostly because I am staying up late too so hopefully it all evens out.

You may think I'm very lazy if you're reading this...and you're probably right...but I do have a few projects I am planning on working on soon. A few posters for the radio station need to be made, one for the Top 20 Show and another for an event called an Express Yourself Cafe...whatever that is. I had ideas floating through my head all last night while I was trying to sleep and I think they'll turn out nice despite the fact that I couldn't even sleep because of it.

Another project I'll be doing...soon...is folding my laundry. I have illegaly smuggled a clothes basket into my room to store them and they have basically been sitting here for about a week now. I should get on that. At least my room is clean though, even though I got a fine last week for not making my bed.

And finally, planning ahead I checked with Cedarville to see iff they'd help me go on a missions trip this year (probably to Guatemala). Guess what they told me: "We will need to check to make sure their doctrine matches ours." What the crap!? Why do they have to let stupid crap like that get in the way of evangelism? Let me put it this way, I want to tell people about Jesus. Are you going to help me or not!?

So stuff is going alright I guess. Not great but life seems to be bearable currently. Till next time...

It's crazy times...

A lot has been going down on this end of the ethernet cable so here are some of my recent happenings...

I got sick of Microsoft Outlook, it ALWAYS freezes up on me and gives me an error message every time I turn it on. Because of this I have made the switch to Thunderbird, Mozilla's e-mail organizing program. I even got a calendar program for it HERE and some sweet skins. The ONLY problem is it cannot check my Hotmail (because the Microsoft jerks shut down the "pop" server programs Hotpop and Mr. Postman. I guess I will have to suffice.

I am now on the radio (U99.5 FM) from 4-6 instead of 6-8. I think I like it better already...maybe some people even listen at my new time.

I started my racquetball class today and it is much more intermediate than I expected. I mean, yeah, I expected there to be first timers in there but even one of them told me that it was a little slow. Oh well, at least I know I can beat everyone there...especially Amber (just messin!) and they will probably all hate me soon.

Joel's Apex worship band will be playing here at Cedarville tomorrow morning for chapel. This is good and bad news...now I have to actually go to chapel but I really am looking forward to it. I call for a few guitar solos and maybe a drum and base solo as well. All I have to say is they better rock it out! And guess what, you are invited to come! That's right, everyone should come check out the Apex Worship Band tomorrow morning at 10am!

Well that's all for now folks...

I Am a Non-Conformist

Right, so I'm sick of trends and fads...in everything. Look at kids these days, they all want to fall into some group of people...even if that group is "non-conformists". Look at me, I'm "Indie" or I'm "Emo"...not only do they conform the way they dress but they also completely change their attitude and personality. Let me tell you, only one person is "emo" and that's Emily!

But it doesn't stop there, now we have to have trendy sexual orientations and religions. Look at me, I'm bisexual...isn't that cool? I want to be just like Demi Moore and Madonna and be at peace with my inner self so I'm switching to Kabbalah! What is wrong with these people. I've always believed kids could think for themself but now I'm starting to wonder.

At least popular groups in the past had actual ideas and agendas. The hippies lobbied against war and non-environmentalists...all these kids do these days is act depressed, dark, or rebellious. I'm still a "kid" okay, and I can't figure out what these kids are thinking these days. Why can't they stop being fads and be themselves!?

I'm done ranting now...

Man it feels good to be a gangsta...

So now I'm back at school and getting used to it again. I have to wake up early in the morning again and start thinking as well. I don't have to go to chapels anymore so that's a plus along with having a room to myself now. Luke stood me up yesterday. He was supposed to come play racquetball with me but he never cam so I played by myself for half and hour. I like all my classes this semester, all the teachers seem okay and none are extremely boring. So all in all I think it will be a good semester.

In other news...Ohio weather sucks!!! We have had so much flippin rain lately, just imagine if it was cold how much snow we could have right now! We'd have like 100in of snow all across Ohio...that's almost enough to throw Earth off its axis. I enjoy snow, it's the only thing that makes winter bearable but cold rain...that just makes me angry! Oh well at least Cedar Lake hasn't overflowed and flooded everything yet.

Well that's all for now...

Update: Joel posted THIS SITE on his blog. This is probably the most amazing pictures I've seen.

Are You Ready To Get Pumped!?

If yes click yes, if no, you're a little baby...

yes<<<<<>>>>>no

So I am back since I took a break over my Christmas break. It was enjoyable and busy but fun all the way through. Along with going to see Dustin, the Lockin, and playing GTA: San Andreas lots of stuff happened so here it is...in "MoDef".

The Death of Christmas

Before Christmas was hectic but I have to admit that I enjoyed being with the family a lot and even helping bake cookies. Above is one that my Dad made, he says it's a snowman with a scarf. Now, call me morbid, but I think it looks like somebody slit the snowman's throat. That's why I call that pic "The Death of Christmas".

Laundry

Before break somebody stole all my laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Now I have to admit that my Downey Spring Fresh dryer sheets are far too tempting to resist but did they have to use all my Era too!? Oh well, I have stowed all my laundry supplies away in my room now so they are safe but still, Ricks been actin fishy.

(Two-Banger)
I don't mean to complain constantly but why does the other dorm (top) look like a flippin Mariott and mine (bottom) is located in the ghetto of Cedarville. That one tree you see in mine is seriously the most beautiful thing around and honestly I think it's ugly. This is the part of Cedarville they don't show you on the tours, they'd rather brag about the hand-scrubbed raquetball courts.

My Dorm..revamped

I moved all the furniture around in my room and with no roomate it's actually finally feeling pretty comfy! I need to get my Papasan Chair in here and my big comfy computer chair and I'll be set. Although rumor has it that the Mandy Moore "Got Milk?" poster may have to come down because it's too provocative for Cedarville. What the crap, like I have the hots for chicks with milk mustaches. Oh well, at least I can sleep with the music on and maybe even use iTunes alarm.

Well that's all for now. I do want to say farewell to Josh and Sabrina who are leaving Thursday. As I said, you guys will truly be missed and I'll keep praying for ya. Peace!
